Ramblers Ranch is located within Terlingua Ranch, and just 13 miles from Hwy 118 and 3 miles from a handful of facilities available to you at the Terlingua Ranch Lodge. You will have spotty cell service, no matter your carrier, on your way out here as well as in the general area, including Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. We suggest you download and/or print the driving directions out before leaving the big city.

From Alpine: Travel approximately, 60 miles south on Hwy 118. Turn left (East) on Terlingua Ranch Road (there will be a large “Terlingua Ranch” sign, a bunch of mailboxes, and a small mini storage facility). Continue 13 miles East on Terlingua Ranch Road. * Make a left on Marathon, where the pavement ends (you will see a private dumpster and street sign indicating the start of Marathon Rd.) Continue up Marathon for approximately half a mile. Veer left at the “Y” to stay on Marathon (you will see the “Tin Valley Retros” sign at the “Y”). We will be the first driveway on the left side. Turn in where you see the “M”.

Once entering the driveway you will see a burnt orange storage container – you are almost at your get away from the get away!

Primitive Camping Site - Park directly across from the storage container. If additional parking is needed, use the overflow just past the container.

Glamping Site - Continue all the way up the driveway to the back of the property where you will see the Glamping Tent. Parking is to your left or at the dead end.
